Skip cutting up your nice chassis and run a beautiful high flow billet 90-degree elbow instead!
The Holley Hi-Ram is a popular intake for the Gen3 Hemi (among others) but it puts the throttle body in an awkward spot. We know that running a Hi-ram means cutting a hole in your hood, but to attach an intake tube up to the throttle body, most people end up having to cut the front chassis cross bar as well, and remove the hood latch.
Our 5-axis machined 90-degree elbow is a 3D bend to give maximum clearance from the hood and front chassis member. We use a V-band clamp to attach the throttle body adapter (also included) such that you can clock the throttle body in any orientation. The elbow is on the plenum side of the throttle, so it adds ~2L of additional volume, which helps if you're running a Procharger or turbo setup. By default we have it configured for a Katech 108MM throttle body bolt pattern, but can accommodate other throttle body bolt patterns on request.
The elbow will mount to both 95 and 105mm hi-ram plenums, and is machined to be seamless with the 105mm size opening. We have verified that on a 5.7-based hemi in a Challenger, it will clear the front chassis bar with no issue. With the 6.4 engine you may require a spacer plate between your hi-ram upper and lower sections to provide more clearance. We have not yet verified fitment on the Charger. The elbow can be used on any 95mm or 105mm hi-ram plenum regardless of vehicle, just note that we have not verified fitment and clearance on anything other than the Challenger.
